If words are singers, tangible creations are dancers. I like the tactile creative process, whether it is fusing glass or taking a sledgehammer to a wall.
Fused glass
I studied glass design at the Art Glass Center at Glen Echo, Maryland, and at Bullseye, Emeryville under teachers including Alicia Lomne and Arrianne Bright.

I've been passionate about architecture as long as I can remember, and first swung a sledgehammer at a wall at age ten. In my early 40s, I returned to school and completed a Master of Science in Sustainable Design at an architecture school. I am a LEED-AP and have designed and renovated properties, in the Washington, DC, area. The home below was purchased from the original owners who had held it since 1908. It was fully gutted as there were no architectural details worth saving. I designed the home and acted as general contractor. The rear yard which doubled as a parking space in the small inner city lot was inspired by Ricardo Legorreta.
